~ puchi’s outfit ~
remember Puchi? the blonde ragdoll we made two years ago?
not long after we finished her, we made her a ballerina outfit, but i forgot to write an entry about it here. and this is the only photo i have. and by now, one of her ballerina shoes are missing…
it was a lot of fun making the dress and the shoes. aina did the skirt, the same way as she did her no-sew tutu, but smaller. i made the leotard and ballet shoes out of aina’s old baby panties… it turned out that baby panties are perfect for doll clothes :)
today, with the Singapore Haze getting thicker outside and the PSI told us to stay indoor, we made another outfit for Puchi:
this time, it’s a jumpsuit, made out of aina’s baby tights. we cut the toes and fold them to make the cuffs. we made 4 small cuts on the waist, where two are made into arms, the other two are for the neck. it was a very a quick project, but aina loved the result. she added a white ribbon for the belt and puchi looked quite stylish :)

Baju-baju bayi yg udah kekecilan itu emang bisa banget ya dipermak buat macem-macem. Dan jumpsuit dari legging itu bener-bener brilian banget, mbak! Me likey!
Itu yg leotard dari panties gimana ceritanya tuh, mbak? Maksudku, transformasi (halah) dari panties jadi leotard.
Ini aku juga lagi mikir buat permak dress Shafiyyah yg waktu umur 6 bulanan untuk jadi rok. Secara dia udah 14 bulan. Baru mikir aja sih… :))
Btw, di sana kena kabut asap kiriman dari Sumatera juga ya?
wah yang leotard itu udah lama. tapi intinya, karet pinggangnya dicopot. side kiri kanan di potong, karena pas ama panjang torso Puchi, trus disambungin dan dikasih lubang buat kaki. bagian pundak didrape dan dipasangin renda, biar cantik.
trus, bagian pantatnya dipotong dua, trus dijadiin sepatu baletnya Puchi.
haha, iya gampang duh jadiin rok dari dress yang udah kekecilan, apa lagi kalo yang rimpel2 gitu, hihihi. aina juga suka dapet rok yang dari baju lamanya dia.
