expiration date 

two days ago, on tuesday, i was so happy to see the mailman waving at us from the outside of our gate. that means, we get a package instead of a regular mail. and, as ari predicted, today, my Brooks saddle arrived. thank you, Mr. Postman!

the dog and the child were excited too. they think it’s something for them… well, too bad, kids. it’s for mama :)

the packaging was great, although a little dented. and saddle looks awesome!

ari installed the new baby on Negi, replacing the squishy saddle that keeps hurting my tailbone.

and within a few minutes, Negi doubled his worth. yes, the saddle was more expensive than the whole bike… am i crazy?

so far, so good, though. yesterday, we cycled to the botanic gardens. and that was the first time i felt that i actually sit on my sit-bone. the old saddle was so soft and squishy that i just melted into the seat, which felt good, but probably not so good for my tailbone. even though the new saddle does need more breaking-in, the after-ride pain has been reduced drastically. today, the pain has gone all together, whereas before, it would take around three days to get rid of the pain before i can ride again. yay!
