~ girls and bunnies ~

08 March 2006

i finally updated the Farm today. i added one girl, one bunny, and one half-girl-half-bunny. yeah, i know… the half-girl-half-bunny is long overdue.

Hitomi is the latest girl i made. all the sudden, i had an urge to make another kimono girl… i think she looks cute posing with Sayaka, who’s currently wearing her not-so-new pink wig.

and these two are the bunny and bunny-wannabe. at first, i had fun making Marie, the blue girl. but after a while, i got bored and losing inspiration on what i should do with her. she’s practically finished sometime in January… and yesterday, all i did to complete her was just put some buttons on her shirt.

hi thalia, is it hard to start learning to make amigurumi? i would like to learn, but don’t know how to start. all your amigurumis are so cute! thanks.

no no, it’s not hard at all. if you can crochet sc, decrease, increase and know how to works in rounds, you’re all set.

if you search on google using “amigurumi patterns” as keywords, you’ll find many free patterns that you can start with before designing one yourself.

iwould love to b able to make a bunny/girl like that one…its soo cute and i absolutely love bunnys. how did you put the blue thing around the head?

hi grace, i just made another “cup” shaped blue cape, that’s slightly larger than the head. when the cup is halfway done, i put it on top of the head, and crochet the rest, leaving the face opening.
