~ penne ricotta with basil & cherry tomatoes ~

forgot the garnish. oops.

olive oil
2 bacon, chopped
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1 small onion, chopped
1 spring onion, finely chopped
125 gr ricotta
1/2 cup fresh basil, finely chopped
175gr penne
6 cherry tomatoes, halves.
pepper
salt
small basil leaves for garnish


heat oil, dump the bacon, garlic, onion and spring onion into the pan and stir until cooked on medium heat… it takes about 5-8 minutes.

cook the pasta until al dente. while waiting, remove the bacon etc from the heat, and stir the ricotta & chopped basil into the pan, beat until smooth.

right before draining the pasta, scoop some pasta water into the ricotta mixture to thin it out. season with salt & fresh grounded pepper.

drain the pasta and stir into the ricotta sauce along with the tomato halves. garnish with small basil leaves.

Gue tuh mikir putih2nya dari mana ya, baru nyadar kalo pake ricotta :D

Lo ga nyoba bikin lauk banyak, Thal? Ayam ato daging, kalo mo makan tinggal dipanasin. Gue kadang gitu jadi lumayan lah 2-3 hari sekali bisa istirahat masak hehe…

bikin ty, kayak opor, belado, etc… tapi itu minggu lalu, jadi blum mulai motret. ga tau napa, minggu ini aina rikuesnya pasta mulu, gue udah mulai bosen.
