~ the new red ~
two days ago, with help from ari, i dyed my hair again. it had turned to light pink since i dyed it red a month ago. this time, i’m using a semi-permanent hair color… let’s see how long it will last. last dye job was using permanent dye, and it last only about 3 weeks…
i’m using La Riche Directions in “Fire” shade. this is actually the first time i use this shade. i’ve tried their purple shade — Violet — a looooong time ago (like, 10 years ago?). all i remember was they color doesn’t bleed as bad as others. this time, i’m very happy with the result. not only it’s really bright, but it’s hardly bleed.
the prior dye job was bleeding everywhere. on my clothes, towels, pillow cases, even on my couch. for the first week, my dripping sweat looked like blood.
on this one, though, no dripping fake blood. the only bleeding happens during shower and on the towel. after that, it stays on my head. yay!
but, yeah… it’s a semi-permanent hair color, so it probably won’t last long. too bad.

waaaahhh… keren amaatt… :) kalo gitu emang nge-cat sendiri aja… ke salon cuma buat di bleach… :)
yak, tul! kayaknya sih kalo ngewarnain bakalan minta tolong ari aja. udah jago tuh dia. sebenernya sih, kita udah punya bleach disini. cuma masih ga yakin atas kemampuan nge-bleach-nya ari. jadi kayaknya sekarang2 ini emang mesti bleach di salon dulu…
I love it! It’s so rich and bright on you. I might have to try this product to touch-up my highlights. Please keep us informed on how it fades.
surprisingly, even after two weeks, the color hasn’t fade out much. it’s a tiny bit lighter than day 1, but the color hasn’t changed to pink or orange. i’m very happy, because i sorta expect it to be all pink by now.
