~ the neverending finally ends ~
yaaaay!! today, i finally tied the last loose end of the neverending blanket. i started it back in March, so it took around 9 month to work on… (although i practically only worked on it half of the time).
one thing i learned from working it it: never attempt to make a queen-size blanket using 4-ply sized yarn. yeah, originally, the plan was to make a blanket for our bed. but i realized that it will take over a year to finish and the yarn i chose was kinda pricey. so it was reduced to a mere couch throw, which we’ve been using it even before the throw was completely finished.
now i just have to finish the other blanket…

nope, it’s for me. when i started making it, i was pregnant yet. i’m going to start to make something for the baby once the patchwork blanket is done :)

hehe, engga ah. ga tau tuh abis berapa ratus dollar buat satu selimut itu. ntar bikin yang buat bayinya pake mesin jahit aja ah :)

btw Koda is arguably the most photographed dog in this part of the world, if not in this world. Come time to chat with the neighbouring pets, I bet Koda does all the talking, I mean with all the things she has in your house, she would spend day and night talking about it.
despite being the most photographed dog, all she does is exactly like that in the picture: she sleeps all day. so, i bet, even when she had a chance to chat with other pets, she would have nothing to say :)
