~ sex and the city ~
no, this entry is not talking about me having sex. sorry to dissapoint you.
today, there was a shooting of Sex and the City in front of the building i work. do you know what Sex in the City is? well, it’s a show in HBO hosted by the sexy Sarah Jessica Parker… yes, i said Sarah Jessica Parker…
so you can imagine how packed the area was. during the lunch hour, the side walk was full of people. i’m not sure if those people are the workers or the spectators… maybe both… you can probably tell who’s working on the set and who’s just merely a spectator. the workers, they all wore these sort of headphone with microphone attached to it. they also carried around walkie talkie. so, i felt like the building has been invaded by aliens or something…. and those people who wore the headphones could be the alien, or the FBI (just like in the movies).
there are a lot of food, though… there was a trailor parked right in front of the building entrance full of bagels, cookies, fruit, and any type of drink you want. Peter said, that’s for the crew. the longer they have to work, the more food available… that makes sense… they started the shooting in the morning (they were already there when i arrived at work) and it was still going when i left to go home.
i didn’t see Sarah Jessica Parker during my lunch trip. it was too crowded to see anyway. there were a big circle of people on the sidewalk… they even spilled out to the road…
but i got to see her when i took a smoke break. it was almost 5 PM, so i guess, most of the people are in the middle of hassling their work so that they can get it done at 5. i saw her wearing this ball gown. she wasn’t as tall as i thought. as a matter of fact, i think she looks cuter in person. she smiles a lot and she’s very friendly to her friends (doh! of course!).
i personally never saw the show. i don’t have cable. my tv can only receive 4 channels plus one channel that shows a black and white shot of the front door of my apartment, and another channel showing the basement garage in my apartment. that one has a cheezy background music and is also in black and white.
anyway, yeah… i’ve never seen her show. and i do not consider myself as a big fan of her. but the title of the show sure sounds catchy…. makes me regret my lack of cable situation….
