~ new computer ~
i got a new computer at work! yippee! my computer has been acting up since yesterday morning. it gave me those blue screen errors and crashed 3 times within an hour… and that was the first thing in the morning. ugh! that’s exactly what i need on monday morning….
so, Froilan, the IS guy had been sitting on my deska llday, trying to fix the problem. around noon, they finally fix the crashing problem. the computer didn’t crash anymore, but all the applications ran VERY slow… Image Ready and Photoshop lagged and made my life miserable. it took me 30 seconds to move one layer three pixel to the right. so frustrating.
so they decided to give me a new computer. i backed everything up, put it on the new computer and browse the net to find good screensaver and wallpaper for my new baby. at the beginning, i used one of designgraphik projects for my wallpaper. that project wasn’t intended for wallpaper but it was really bright, cool and busy. i love it…. but people who sit next to me started to complain that it was too distracting. yeah… i guess so. i couldn’t tell the difference between my icons and the background. so now, i’m using one of the wallpapers by Andreas Lindkvist.
i still haven’t gotten any screensavers, so if you know where i can find a nice one, let me know.
