expiration date 

this year, we’re reusing the halloween theme we did three years ago. ghosts and pumpkins. the traditional halloween theme. but i noticed that i’ve never posted the how-to on the crepe-pumpkin-filled-with-candies packet. so, here it is :)

first, you need:

• rolls of orange crepe paper
• green floral tape. if you don’t have this, just use green crepe paper cut into the width of a tape and glue.
• scissors
• lots of candies

first, cut the orange crepe paper into squares. the square should be big enough to wrap the candies. ours were about 25cm in size.

then, put a bunch of candies in the middle of the orange crepe paper…

 

wrap candy into the orange paper, and twist the end tightly. this part will be the pumpkin stalk.

cut the stalk to about 2-3cm in length, just to be neat.

then, wrap the green floral tape around the stalk. if you don’t have the floral tape, just put glue around the talk and wrap the green crepe paper. crepe paper is thin enough that a little bit of glue is sufficient for 2 layers of wrapping.

then, it’s done. just repeat and make as many as you want… we have to make about a hundred of those tonight. easy, right? and they’re kinda cute, too!
