~ bbq dinner ~

since ari’s mom is here and she’s an excellent cook, we invited ari’s cousin, Oscar, and ari’s sister’s boyfriend, Bond to our home to have a barbecue dinner. ari’s mom prepared some corn, chicken and beef satay with peanut and sweet soy sauce (not the Malay kinda satay… this one is the Indonesian satay, which i like much better), and some iced selasih mixed with cincau for dessert. yummy.
i was quite surprised that we actually finished the whole thing except for three skewers of satay.
this is also the first time we got to try our second-hand Weber Grill. and it works like wonder :)
this is one thing that I haven’t been able to do it here in Singapore… BBQing… :( My place doesn’t have much room for the grill… and even if it does… tetangga pasti protes!
you guys should come over to have a bbq sometimes. we have plenty of space to do that and the neighbors are okay with it, too… :)
