~ decorating my sketchbook ~
while i was looking for certain fabrics, i found a roll of fabric tape that has cherry blossom motif on it. i remember buying the poor tape around two years ago and i kept it buried in the storage bin. the reason it just went to the storage bin is because it came in such short length (1 meter per roll), and i didn’t know what to do with it.
so, it make it worth, i did this easy-peasy thing: decorating my moleskine sketchbook! it’s been a while since i want to put something on the cover of my moleskine, like stickers or something. but i couldn’t find any stickers i like. so, i thought this one would be perfect.
i like the way it turned out. so, i hope it stays on. next, i’m going to find a thin strip of ribbon to put it in the middle of the strip, to make it look like kimono’s obi…. i think it’d be cute :)
but, yeah, this probably doesn’t belong to “Craft” category… but i don’t know where else to put it.

hi tricia! thank you :D
Where is it possible to find a roll paper like this? I am French… Do you know the mark, the name?
i bought it in a Japanese two-dollar-store called Daiso. the tape itself is brandless. i don’t know where to find it in France, though.
that is so super cute! Perfect use for the fabric! And making it look like an obi would be even cuter!
thank you, reese! i haven’t been able to find a good, thin ribbon, though. let me know if you have suggestions :)
