~ finished white scarf ~
i finished the white scarf two days ago. yay! this scarf is made as a birthday gift for my mom. her birthday is exactly two months from now, on the 22nd of July. so, i kinda finished the scarf too early.
she hops between Jakarta and Melbourne quite often, so i thought she would be able to wear it during Melbourne’s winter…
she’s an avid crocheter. i learned how to crochet from her when i was on the 3rd grade. i’m not sure if she remembers that, though. then, when i was still living in the NYC, she made a crocheted blanket for my birthday. you can sorta see it on the couch in this picture. there is that, and a table cloth for our dining table, which is not in the picture. those are the larger pieces i have from her.
well, i can’t even finish my own blanket (which has reduced into a throw), so i’ll just go with a little scarf. i’m also a little worried that she would inspect the scarf and see the little mistakes i did… haha.

gampaaang! dan therapeutic :) merajut itu kayak naik sepeda… waktu belajarnya perlu kesabaran dan ketekunan. tapi, kalo udah bisa, ga bakal pernah lupa dan rasanya kayak second nature!

iya, chili aja. mumpung satu kota. kalo buat crochet + jait, minta ajarin chili. tapi kalo knitting, mintanya ama naomi. dia lebih bisa.
