~ daisy and zaki ~

introducing Daisy: a male bunny belongs to my cousin (Demy).

daisy in cage

Demy is currently back in Indonesia to get married, thus Daisy needs a home for a few weeks. i offered myself to bunnysit, and now Daisy lives with me and my mom on our porch (unlike Bebe, Daisy has been living outside. he’s not an apartment bunny). regarding the name: why Daisy? isn’t he a male? well, i asked the same question, but i guess the owner can name their pet whatever they like, right?

introducing Zaki: a 1-year-old nephew of mine.

zaki next to chair

he’s a little shy around strangers, and he’s terrified with asians with blue eyes (he ran away crying from me whenever i wear my colored contacts. he’s very cute and smiley otherwise.

Zaki meets Daisy. he loves the bunny. he kept pointing at him and shrieks. he sticks his tiny fingers between the cage and tried to pet the bunny. cute!

i think they will get along just fine, as long as Zaki doesn’t start licking the cage or pulling Daisy’s ears and whiskers.

bunnies and babies are so cute together, no?

I am sad about Bebe but I’m also glad I met him when he was still living in Queens, creeping around the kitchen. And Daisy? HE’S HUGE!

he IS huge! his head is almost twice as big as bebe’s! but he’s a sweet bunny. he’s very gentle to little kids. a bit stubborn to adults, but he’s a good rabbit to bunnysit :)
