this afternoon:
some australian guy: “hey thalia, did you hear about the bomb just exploded in Jakarta?”thalia: “yeah, i read it in my.yahoo.”
a few minutes later:
some austalian girl: “did you hear what happened in Jakarta?”thalia: “yeah, i read it in my.yahoo.”
some australian girl: “omg, i’m so sorry about that…”
thalia: “me too…”
later on:
some indonesian guy: “oy, udah denger ada bomb di…”thalia: “yep, udah. baca di my.yahoo.”
some indonesian guy: “… rupiah turun lagi deh nih… “
so, my.yahoo is good, bomb is bad. and some people in indonesia are just being extremely stupid to do all this terror to their fellow indonesians. how dissapointing.
ps: i think enda’s third paragraph of his entry is best describes my feeling towards this idiotic event (in indonesian).
