~ it’s monday ~

28 October 2002

it’s Monday… it started out with me cursing at myself for waking up late (but then again, it was my fault for sleeping late). i planned to arrive at work around 8, but i woke up at quarter to 8, instead. it usually takes me about an hour of subway ride to get to work. so i hurried myself to leave the apartment and doze-off on the train. once i get to the office (around 9), i realized that i completely missed the Day Light Saving time thing and ended up living an hour ahead. so, i actually got to work at 8… just like i wanted to. i thought, blessing in disguise!

but it’s Monday; of course things don’t go he way i wanted it to go. the network connection down, and there is no one in the office. people usually get here at 9am. not 8. so, hell… i did practically nothing from 8 to 9 waiting for the damn network to get fixed. it didn’t get fixed until 10:30. pssh… :(

today, however, our CEO cooked omelette for breakfast. fun fun. we order, he make it. there were a line of few people on the omelette order, but i thought i was waiting for the network connection to start anyway… might as well have an omelette. so, i ordered a cheese-mushroom-ham omelette. turned out that our CEO is a pretty good cook (although he struggled a bit at the first 2 orders). by the time i’m done with my breakfast, the network connection is up. yay!

this post has no point at all. i just feel like rambling.

ps: nice paintings.
