~ memory chips ~
i ordered a memory chip for my computer yesterday morning. it makes me nervous since my luck with computer-related stuff has been a bit thin lately. so far, it’s not that bad:
the good news is it arrived today. crucial.com is the best — free 2-day shipping, and it still managed to arrived the next day!
the half-bad news is myself. i, who are practically a memory-chip-changer virgin, decided to buy the memory chip before reading my computer manual. i read the manual last night to find out out that i should have bought 2 chips to double my memory. so today, i bought another one.
i hope it never gets to bad news, like the two chips i bought ended up too big to fit and i have to buy two new ones and i can’t return the ones i already bought because i didn’t read the fine print when i bought them and the whole experince would cost me 500 dollars alone.
yeah, i’ve been playing the worst case scenario in my head to avoid dissapointment.
