~ mom’s birthday ~

today is my mom’s birthday. happy birthday, mom! i called her yesterday evening since Indonesia is about 12 hours earlier.
i bought a couple of clothes, DVDs and comics today. it was such a nice day. ari and i spent our afternoon walking around East Village and sitting in Union Square. perfect. later that night — after watching Boogie Nights, we heard that something goes really wrong in the Indonesian government. this is the last news i can find. hmm, torn between the decree and the impeachment. heh. i gotta call home to find out what happened.
